   Today was one of those days that just starts out slow. With the overcast skies and the light rain we would have stayed home but we had family pictures at church today. Lucky for us we did not have to be there until 0915. We got there with 2 minutes to spare.

   For all of you with children you know that pictures never quite go the way you would like. But "murphy" must have been asleep today because the kids actually did quite well. The only problem came when the photographer asked Mackenzie if she wanted to take her shoes off. We learned that will not happened but otherwise the kids did great. Parents when this one.

   After the pictures  we were all hungry so I took everyone to Mimi's at the Rim. We all enjoyed all breakfast/lunch and got in with very little wait. The kids really enjoy that restaurant and Mackenzie says it is her favourite.

   By the time we had finished Connor was starting to fall asleep so we got him home and into bed.  Brandy and Mackenzie went back to the Rim to shop at JcPenny's with Oma and I stayed home with Connor. Daddy got the chance to clean the fish tank...oh what joy...and to clean the kitchen. But the time I was done I realized Brandy and Mac had been gone about 2 1/2 hours and Connor got a great nap. Someday I will join him.

   The evening came quickly and I had not really thought about dinner but lucky for us a good friend, Carrie, made us a wonderful meal. Thank you. Our friends have been a true blessing for us through this very difficult time. Saying thank you a million times might not ever cover all you have done for us but from our hearts to yours....thank you.....

   Since I write these from time to time and usually at night you guys know what is next....yep...time to get everyone in bed and daddy stays up to read or just "veg" in front of the tv.....bless you all..........
