Mackenzie's Birthday

Yesterday was Mackenzie's 6th Birthday!!!  What a wonderful day it was!

She woke up at the crack of dawn with a big smile on her face!  We had hung a "Happy Birthday" banner and decorated the kitchen table with her gift and pirate plates and napkins for her birthday breakfast!

Of course, she was anxious to wake everyone else up as well so we could all sing Happy Birthday to her, let her blow out the candles on her birthday muffin and then open her gift.

Connor stumbled into the kitchen, sang Happy Birthday, blew out some candles as well and then stumbled over to the couch and exclaimed, "Mac, I'm tired!!!"

Mackenzie could care less that it wasn't even six o'clock yet!  She knew it was her special day!

The morning was full of excitement, but it didn't stop there.  We then took her McDonald's for lunch where we all got to sit at a special table in the school cafeteria and eat together.  She wore her birthday hat Mrs. McDaniel had given her and she couldn't stop smiling.  We then got to have cupcakes and Mommy read one of her favorite stories "The Rainbow Fish" to all of her classmates.

Mackenzie got to pick what we had for dinner and we sang again with cupcakes and candles.

The night finished up with a visit from Oma and Opa before we all crashed and burned!

Next is the family celebration at the pizza place and then Connor's birthday on Thursday!
